Standard Terms & Conditions

Dispatch Policy
Goods are normally dispatched within 14-56 days. If we are unable to despatch your order within 14-56 days, please email us for information. Stated lead times are an estimate and not guaranteed. Manufacturing can take up to 8 weeks. Austin Racing Limited uses UPS services worldwide and is subject to UPS terms and conditions. Austin Racing does not accept liability of any lost or damaged shipments once they have been handed over to UPS. If any problem does occur with shipping, UPS investigation procedures must be followed, and all liability falls to UPS as the consignment is in their care.

Any goods received from Austin Racing must be checked and any dispute must be raised within 14 days of receipt of the item(s).

Prices and Tax.
Prices and Tax. The price shown for the goods excludes postage and packing and VAT at the correct rate (UK ONLY) unless specifically stated. The charges for postage and packing are shown in the Checkout once you have entered the country and method of delivery and before you are asked to confirm the order. Delivery to All countries outside of the UK may result in import duties payable on receipt of the goods. You will be liable for these duties. Austin Racing Limited will not pay any duties due. Items may not be delivered if duties due are not paid in full by the receiver/purchaser.

Cancellation and Returns

Cancellations and Returns

Cancellations within 7 days of order placement are subject to a £25 administration fee.

Cancellations after 7 days but before dispatch are subject to a 20% restocking fee as production will have begun.

Black Ceramic systems cancelled within 7 to 14 days are subject to the same 20% fee. After 14 days, the order cannot be cancelled.

Returns of unwanted goods (non-faulty) are subject to a 40% restocking fee and the customer is responsible for all shipping costs.

Custom-made, special-order, or third-party products that are not manufactured by Austin Racing cannot be returned for refund or exchange.

Before returning any goods, please email us at sales@austinracing.com stating your order details and reason for return.

Warranty

All Austin Racing exhaust systems are covered by a one-year manufacturerâ??s warranty against defects in materials or workmanship from the date of purchase.

To claim under warranty, you must provide proof of purchase (your original invoice).

Warranty Exclusions:

The warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse, crash impact, or improper installation

Heat discolouration, corrosion, or wear from normal use.

Imperfections in the tip finish or colour

Modifications, alterations, or use with incompatible parts

Use on public roads where the system is not road legal

Our liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the product at our discretion. Labour, tuning, or consequential costs are not covered.

Confidentiality
All confidential information, including credit card details, are held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Customer details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site. Disclaimer: This exhaust is for race use only and has not been homologated and is fitted at the buyer’s own risk and may invalidate all warranties. The seller accepts no responsibility in the extreme unlikelihood of damage accruing to the motorcycle not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty as a direct result of the fitting of this exhaust. The seller accepts no responsibility of court, or any action taken against the buyer as a result of this exhaust being used on a public highway.

Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by English Law in every particular, including formation and interpretation, and shall be deemed to be made in England. Any proceedings arising out of, or in connection with, this agreement shall be brought in any Court of competent jurisdiction in London. Submission by the parties to such jurisdiction shall not limit the rights of Austin Racing Limited to commence any proceedings arising out of this agreement in any other jurisdiction it may consider appropriate.

Road and Race Exhaust Systems

dB compliant systems will come accompanied with a document of approval. This certifies that this exhaust kit complies with testing procedures to ensure its in tolerance with international safety and noise regulations as specified on the chassis identification plate for this country.

If the system is non-compliant then it will come supplied with a 'Race Use Only' marking.

Austin Racing Limited makes every effort to provide accurate information on compliance of our products with various regulations, noise levels and product integrity and identify if they are for competition-use only or for general street/highway use in a certain allowable area. However, unless an explicit compliance label is indicated for a specific product stating the area use, Austin Racing Limited does not make, or validate, any statement of certified homologation within any specific area or territory. It is the buyer's responsibility to choose the appropriate product for their intended use and area. As regulations change over time, please check our terms and conditions on our website to verify compliance.

Please ensure that the product is installed according to the correct installation instructions. Additionally, it is crucial to use the product in compliance with all local regulations. Failure to do so may invalidate the product's compliance. Austin Racing Limited is not liable for situations where an area or territory conducts tests on the exhaust system using specifications that are outside the scope of compliance provided by Austin Racing Limited.

Consumer Rights
None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
